When I first visited the Salvo's chic street boutique collaborated and curated with eco fashionista and National Op Shop Week Ambassador Faye Delanty I was simply amazed. There were so many beautiful pieces to choose from all ranging from luxury or designer to vintage clothing and accessories and each piece had been carefully selected to save you all the trouble of digging through yourself. At the Salvos street boutique you can find designer brands at a fraction of the retail price as well as some amazing vintage pieces sure to compliment any eco fashionista's wardrobe. The boutique is replenished daily and is reliant on donations and although op-shopping is hard, Faye proves that the quality of garments you can find can be quite extraordinary.
If you haven't already heard of Faye Delanty she is sure a 'one to watch' appearing on Channel 9 morning's show where she presents some of the best vintage and preloved fashion and shows how you can look stylish whilst still care for the environment and op-shopping (one of her loves) does just that.
Op-shopping is a great way to not only give back to charity but to find unique pieces at a fraction of the RRP and is the best way to shop sustainably by turning one's old items of clothing and making them new again.
