When I first had the pleasure of meeting eco fashion designer Nicole Bennett, I knew she had a passion for the eco fashion industry and how she could make a more positive impact within it. Nicole certainly is doing so and her label is taking off and with the likes of the PR Department behind her, there is no stopping this label from achieving tremendous success. After chatting with Nicole I immediately knew she was authentic in what she did, from the reasons why she started her label to her vision of what eco fashion will achieve in Australia and how she can play a further part in the future of the eco fashion industry. It's clear Nicole is a very driven woman on a mission to shake up the current fashion industry and have them re-assess their mass-produced and unfair work practices.
Upon entering the PR Department to view Nicole's collection, I saw fluidity with the styles and colours she chose for the collection. Every piece worked well with each other to provide essential every day pieces built to compliment any fashionista's staple wardrobe. Her goal is to provide a collection which is made up of timeless, classic pieces which can be worn season after season, encouraging the principle of quality over quantity. Her pieces are trans-seasonal so they can be worn throughout the year. To top it off all pieces are lovingly handmade on the North Shore of Sydney and are made in limited batches or are made to order ensuring Nicole maintains authenticity in local and slow production methods and fair work practices.
I am excited to see what's next for Nicole and wish her all the very best in her future endeavours. Should you wish to purchase pieces from Nicole's collection it will be available to buy on EKOLUV soon so keep an eye on on the website. In the meantime you can visit Nicole's site here.
